Application Workshops for a New Shared Education Initiative

aspire logos

ASPIRE, a shared education initiative funded through PEACEPLUS, is designed to foster direct and sustained contact between children from all backgrounds across Northern Ireland and the six border counties of Ireland. This multi-year, cross-border partnership is led by the Northern Ireland Education Authority in collaboration with Early Years, the National Childhood Network, Léargas, and the Fermanagh Trust.

🗓️ Workshops for Pre-School Applicants: Early Years and the National Childhood Network have organised workshops to support pre-school settings in the application process and introduce the principles of the ASPIRE Project. These sessions will be a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the project

  • Discuss ideas and best practices around Shared Education and Inclusion

  • Get ready to apply!

 📅 Important Info:

  • The ASPIRE project runs until December 2028

  • This initiative builds on the success of the Sharing from the Start project

  • These sessions are specifically tailored for pre-school applicants. Separate workshops run by the Education Authority and Léargas will cater to other settings.
